Cynthia Trickett, PA-C, MPAS: I'm Cynthia Trickett, a physician assistant at North Dallas Dermatology Associates in Dallas, Texas. The session "Ask the Experts - Derm Cases" has three parts. It was a series of talks from three providers about different derm issues, facial rashes, annular rashes, and toenail conditions.

During my portion of the conversation, I discussed toenail conditions. My key points were (1) not all nail dystrophy is onychomycosis, (2) types of onychomycosis, and (3) what to consider if treatment for onychomycosis fails.

It is my hope that you'll gain a better understanding of toenail conditions to take back to your patients in primary care. If you would like to know more, please make sure you check out my session. Ask the experts - Derm Cases" at 2024 PUPC. Thank you.
