Metabolic Surgery for Type 2 Diabetes

ASMBS President Eric DeMaria, MD, discusses an encouraging new systematic review and meta-analysis from George Washington University, which found that metabolic surgery is significantly more effective than medical management for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in patients with milder forms of obesity.
