Her primary concerns were intermittent increases in heart rate and appetite (with a weight gain of 7 kg within the past year), feeling hot at night even in winter, persistent lower extremity edema that had been present since age 4 years, and difficulty in concentrating.</p>

The infant was born to a 25-year-old mother after an uncomplicated, full-term pregnancy and normal vaginal delivery. Birth weight and length were 4.2 kg (9.3 lb) and 52 cm (20.5 in), respectively. Circumcision was performed in the neonatal period.<span class="article-text"><span></span></span></p>
