As Consultant continues to evolve to meet the needs of today’s time-constrained clinicians, we remain committed to publishing concise, clinically actionable content, and we invite you to contribute. We are actively seeking submissions across our case-based formats, including Case in Point, Photoclinic, Case Series, Original Research, and What’s Your Diagnosis? Our issue archive has examples of each content type.

We recognize that clinicians have limited time to write and publish. To streamline the submission process, Consultant offers clearly defined, structured templates that simplify manuscript development and reduce unnecessary revisions. To that point, we have also improved the efficiency and predictability of our editorial process. From January 2025 to April 2026, Consultant reduced its time to final editorial decision from 69 days to 50 days, representing an approximately 28% improvement. This accelerated timeline allows authors to disseminate clinically relevant findings more rapidly while maintaining the rigor and quality our readers expect.

Through these efforts, Consultant aims to provide an efficient and impactful platform for sharing clinically relevant insights with a broad, practice-focused audience. We encourage you to submit your work and contribute to a growing body of practical knowledge that supports everyday patient care.
