Your Running Days Are Numbered!
Advise runners to write the date they start wearing a pair of running shoes on the underside of the tongue, with a permanent marker. If they keep a log of how many miles they run (which most runners do), this makes it easy to calculate when they have clocked 500 miles in the shoes. It is usually recommended that runners replace their shoes after 500 miles to prevent overuse injuries.
